Day 2 Marlin Action Continues to Shift Top Boats for the Bermuda Triple Crown

33 more marlin were caught with 30 releases and 3 weighed in an exciting day of non-stop action off the shores of Bermuda. One day remains at the Big Game Classic and its up grabs for who will leave the tournament on top heading for the Sea Horse Anglers Club Billfish Tournament to claim the Crown. Friday there were 23 different boats that caught marlin, highlighted by On Ice, a 57 foot Ocean Yacht, that released 3 blues by days end. That last fish brought them into 3rd place based on time as both Grander, a Hatteras and De Mako, a Briggs, each released 2 marlin to give them each 4 blue marlin releases towards the Crown. Rum Bum, Barbara B and Queen of Hearts also caught and released 2 blue marlin each to help keep a crowded field all in contention going into day 3.

If the fishing on day 3 of the Classic is anything like the first 2 days than we are in for a real treat!

All boats are competing for bragging rights and beautiful rings and trophies, as well as an outstanding prize package.
